What is nursing?

探花社区鈥檚 ACEN-accredited and OBN-approved Nursing program equips you with the knowledge and clinical experience needed to become a registered nurse. Choose from two tracks鈥擳raditional or Career Mobility鈥攂oth designed to prepare you for the NCLEX and licensure in Oklahoma and other NLC states.

    探花社区鈥檚 Nursing Program equips you with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience to become a confident, licensed RN. You鈥檒l learn to:

    • Coordinate care based on respect for the patients鈥� preferences, values, and needs.
    • Perform competently within own scope of practice as a member of the health care team.
    • Integrate current evidence with clinical expertise and the preferences and values of the patient/family for delivery of optimal health care.
    • Examine standardized practices that support safety and quality health care.
    • Utilize technology, including information management tools, to support safe processes of care.

    Graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN and practice in Oklahoma and Nurse Licensure Compact states. The LPN to RN Transition track offers credit for prior experience and a faster path forward. 

  • Professional Licensure Disclosure

    The 探花社区 Nursing Program is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN). Graduates are eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Licensure in Oklahoma is subject to all state and federal requirements. For details, visit .

     

    Oklahoma is a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), allowing 探花社区 graduates to seek a multistate license valid in all NLC states. Learn more and view participating states at .
